Jim Parker is a nationally recognized business intermediary as well as a thought leader in the industry of selling businesses. He brings nearly 25 years of experience to the table. His depth of knowledge and expertise have truly made his webinars and “Let’s Chat with Jim Parker” YouTube Channel popular go-to resources for both beginning and seasoned business brokers throughout the United States and beyond.

His passion for the business brokerage industry has earned him numerous accolades, including the accumulation of nearly 50 industry awards. He has also earned the elite status of being one of fewer than 20 people in the world who possesses all four of these prestigious designations: M&AMI (Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary), CM&AP (Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Professional), MCBI (Master Certified Business Intermediary), and CBI (Certified Business Intermediary).

In addition, Jim has been a game-changer in industry organizations. He served three consecutive terms as the State Chairman of the Business Brokers of Florida (BBF), an organization boasting nearly 1,000 members. He continues to influence the industry at large through his active participation on the BBF Board of Directors. Jim is also one of twelve esteemed individuals on the Board of Governors for the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), a body of nearly 3,000 members.

He has been a featured speaker for both the BBF and IBBA at numerous regional and state business brokerage associations across the country. His speaking engagements have sometimes exceeded 700 people. As an expert panelist at the Florida Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (FLAGGL) conference, he has shared his insights on SBA loans from a broker’s perspective. Jim has also taken his expertise to the airwaves, discussing business sales on WHFS 1010AM and 1470FM radio shows.

His track record of success in selling countless businesses is truly spectacular. His unique internal process, the Business Sales Success System™, has led to impressive results; while the industry average for businesses sold is projected to be as low as 10%, Jim sells a staggering 90% of businesses he takes to the market – and many at prices considerably above the average for those that are similar in type and size.
